Who are we?
None other than the people who have designed, built, troubleshot, programmed, and reprogrammed many of the orbital welding machines you’re using – the M217/M217P, the M317, and the M415.
That experience makes us uniquely qualified to deal with the mind-blowing amounts of data these machines generate (or can generate, when properly configured.)

What do we do?
Sure, “data analysis” and “data science” are terms that are thrown around constantly these days, and are really kind of meaningless catch-alls. How do they translate to your business, and what can you learn from analyzing the data?
- Analysis of all welds performed by machine 65443 shows that the general quality of those welds suffers on Monday mornings. Further analysis reveals that user John Doe is normally the welder performing the lower-quality welds. You can now investigate further.
- Analysis shows that machine 34523 is gradually requiring higher and higher current levels in order to meet weld specifications. This could possibly be a sign of impending inverter problems. At the very least, it may show that machine 34523 is due for some maintenance, possibly avoiding many hours of lost time should the machine break.
- Certain welds performed with machine 24445 exhibit superior weld quality. Looking at the data can show exactly what schedules were used and the values of all relevant parameters during those welds, enabling those parameters to be duplicated.

how do we protect your data?
No need to worry about the safety and security of your data. All computers running the analysis algorithms are completely offline the entire time your data resides on them. When the analyses are complete, all traces of your data are completely wiped from the drives before the machine is put online again.
You have several options for securely transferring your data to & from our facilities:
- You can upload it to our secure servers, using end-to-end encryption
- You can send us a flash drive or hard drive via snail mail
- You can have it delivered any other way you choose

What does all of this cost?
It depends on things unique to your company and setup, including number and type of power supplies, what sorts of analyses to perform and how often, and a few other factors.
In general, however, our services will almost always cost less than having a full-time data scientist on staff, while delivering all of the advantages that such a staff member would provide.
